The fourth version, the 990v4, is widely seen as the benchmark of the line, with a balanced silhouette and production in the USA.

The "NB Navy" colourway pairs deep navy with Meteorite and Kombu tones. A pigskin suede and breathable mesh upper sits on an ENCAP midsole, which wraps a cushioning EVA core in a durable polyurethane rim for stability.

Wear the 990v4 with raw denim, chinos or wool trousers. It is the dad-shoe icon that became a style staple, chosen by people who care more about build quality than hype.

Within the 990 family, the v4 holds a special place: it is the model that turned the dad shoe from jogging gear into a fashion icon. Several generations later, it remains one of the most sought-after 990 versions among collectors and fans of well-made trainers.

Available at noirfonce.eu, an official New Balance retailer since 2015, in unisex sizing, with fast delivery across Europe, secure checkout and pay-in-instalments options.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0933/1060/files/A-Recuperado_1_0b9f3544-1298-4561-b8ff-66fbeac71c0e.jpg?v=1791277295
