With a fresh take on the retro running shoe, the GEL-KAYANO™ 14 running shoe takes on the aesthetic of the 2000s as a nod to our famous GEL-KAYANO™ running shoe series. This version, which reinterprets the high-performance characteristics of the shoes with updated materials and components, became the first edition in the lineage of these shoes designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. The passing of the torch has also revived the signature values of the shoes, while evolving their performance. Replicating the original midsole design with GEL™ cushioning technology, these shoes also improve the fit of the upper by retaining its 2008 leather and mesh design. In addition, the insole has been produced using a solution dyeing process that reduces water consumption by 33% and carbon emissions by around 45%.
