The MXR reflects our desire to share Mizuno's retro 2000s running experience, as an extension of the globally recognized Wave Rider 10. The name MXR comes from the Maximizer line, a running line offered for years in our domestic market to bring Mizuno quality to a wide audience.
The MXR is an entry-level silhouette, but it stays true to Mizuno’s essence, with a high level of quality and technicality. Special attention has been given to the new tooling, with a high level of detail and multiple rubber components that allow for technical color blocking.
This iteration uses a combination of authentic materials, with a silver overlay and white air mesh. The shoe is rich in detail: prints on the eyelets, embossed quarter panels, and custom bands.
