Homerun NYC x Mental Athletic x Noirfonce x Scrapworld 5k social run

Last July, as the streets of Madrid seemed to come to a standstill under the smouldering heat, parts of the city came alive with energy, camaraderie, and movement as four creative forces came together to host an informal community run: Homerun NYC, Noirfonce, Mental Athletic, and Scrapworld.

What started as a simple idea — bringing people together around running, culture, and style — transformed into a morning full of shared passion and new connections.

Meeting point: Noirfonce. Our home, the boutique, became the start line. Runners of all levels gathered, lacing up their sneakers and sharing stories before setting off on a relaxed route through the city’s streets.

With guidance from the one and only Adrian del Campo, the atmosphere was inclusive and motivating — a reminder that running is about much more than pace or distance. It’s about community, mindset, and the joy of moving together.

Alongside them, Homerun NYC brought its New York spirit to Madrid, blending global running culture with local energy. And of course, Scrapworld added its streetwear edge, proving once again that performance and style can coexist seamlessly.

The run wasn’t about competition; it was about connection. From experienced athletes to first-timers, everyone found their stride and their place in the pack. By the time the group arrived at God Coffee, the smiles, high-fives, and shared conversations told the story: this was more than just a run.

As coffee cups were raised and sneakers unlaced, the sense of community lingered. This collaboration reminded us that the best moments happen when brands, people, and ideas intersect in unexpected ways.
