Clarks men's: the Wallabee, the Desert Boot and the British brand's classics

Clarks: British shoemaking since 1825

Clarks is a British shoemaker founded in 1825 in Street, Somerset, by brothers Cyrus and James Clark. In 1950 Nathan Clark launched the Desert Boot, a suede boot inspired by footwear he had seen during the war, and in 1967 the brand introduced the Wallabee, with its moccasin construction and crepe sole. Both became classics of the Clarks Originals line, adopted by very different scenes, and they remain hugely popular across Europe.
