Racing running shoes: the carbon revolution

In just a few years, racing running shoes have reshaped road running. Pairing ultra-light, responsive foam with a carbon fibre plate has made runners more efficient, from the 10K to the marathon. The Race Running collection gathers models built for speed: Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next% 3 in Ekiden, Ghost, Obsidian Mist, Olive Aura or Eliud Kipchoge colourways, Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 4 and 3 in Bright Crimson, Ghost or Light Trails, plus the Nike Zoom Fly 6 for faster training. Cushioning, carbon plates and racing shoe sizing

These shoes combine premium foam, such as Nike ZoomX or Adidas Lightstrike Pro, with a stiff carbon element that guides your stride. The Alphafly adds forefoot Air Zoom units for a noticeable bounce, while the Vaporfly focuses on low weight. Most fit true to size but tend to feel snugger, so try them with your running socks.
