Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Last Dance At The Garden": a tribute to Michael Jordan's final game at the Garden

On 8 March 1998, during his last season with the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan played what he believed would be his final game at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks. Wanting a link back to his earliest games in the building, he left his Air Jordan 13s in the locker and laced up an original pair of "Chicago" Air Jordan 1s. Blisters and all, he dropped 42 points in a Chicago win. Jordan Brand celebrates that New York "last dance" with the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG "Last Dance At The Garden", released on 26 September 2026.

The official Black/Summit White/Laser Fuchsia/Varsity Red colourway reworks the "Chicago" spirit with upgraded materials. Over a white leather base, black jacquard textile embroidered with red florals covers the toe, eyestays and heel. The black Swoosh is outlined in metallic gold, as are the lower eyelets and the Wings logo on the heel. The inner tongue carries the game date and MJ's box score, a small blue and orange loop in Knicks colours sits on the tongue, and the pink insole features Nike Air branding in blue and orange. Nike Air cushioning, a foam midsole and a grippy rubber outsole complete the build, and the pair comes with three sets of laces in black, orange and blue.

Day to day, these low-tops go with straight-leg raw denim, black chinos or nylon shorts when the sun's out. They work as well with a streetwear fit as with an open shirt or a wool coat, the gold and floral touches adding character without overloading the look.
