With a new take on the retro running shoe design, the GEL-KAYANO™ 14 reinterprets the 2000s aesthetic in tribute to the iconic GEL-KAYANO™ series. This version updates technical performance with modern materials and components, marking the first edition in the line designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. This passing of the torch has helped revive the model’s core values while continuing its technical evolution. Retaining the original midsole design with GEL™ cushioning technology, this edition also improves the fit thanks to a layered leather and mesh upper, faithful to the 2008 model. In addition, the insole is made using a solution-dyeing process that reduces water consumption by 33% and carbon emissions by around 45%.
