Autry's story starts in 1982, with roots in Texas. In the '80s, footwear specialist Jim Autry designed a tennis court sneaker branded with his own name. The brand enjoyed real success through the '80s and '90s before fading away at the end of the decade. In 2019, four Italian entrepreneurs brought it back with a clear vision: preserve the heritage while offering a modern take. The Medalist, the label's signature silhouette inspired by '80s tennis, became the starting point of that revival, and the Super Vintage line is its most hand-crafted expression.

The idea behind Super Vintage is simple: take a brand-new pair and give it the look of trainers that have been worn for years.
