New Balance Allerdale Made in UK 'Moorland Textures': English moorland spirit, built in Cumbria

Introduced in spring 2025, the New Balance Allerdale Made in UK is named after the Cumbrian district that is home to New Balance's Flimby factory. It pays tribute to the region and to the brand's walking-shoe heritage, offering a more refined, tailored take on the outdoor trainer.

The 'Moorland Textures' edition draws on the British moors. Its upper blends leather and suede in contrasting textures, finished in a Bison/Military Olive colourway that mixes bison brown with military olive green. Signature details include hiking-style D-ring eyelets, an embroidered NB logo, a woven Allerdale tongue label and heavy-duty stitching on the rubber cupsole. Comfort comes from FuelCell foam borrowed from New Balance running and an OrthoLite insole, while the lugged tread adds stability and grip.

The earthy palette works with cord trousers, stone chinos, raw denim or a canvas chore jacket. It is a natural pick for countryside weekends, city walks on cooler days or a smart-casual office look, from autumn right through to spring.
