Air Jordan 40 "28": the AJ40 meets the AJ28's zippered shroud

Through a series of homages built around the Air Jordan 40, Jordan Brand pairs its latest basketball model with standout elements from its history. The Air Jordan 40 "28", often called the 4028, borrows the zippered shroud of the 2013 Air Jordan 28, one of the boldest designs in the line. The 23-branded zip wraps around almost the whole shoe.

Zipped up, the pair is black throughout, with a patent leather toe and Metallic Silver hits. Unzip the shroud and a Barely Volt tongue and interior come into view, a bright yellow-green that creates a striking contrast. An icy translucent outsole with a herringbone pattern for traction completes the Black/Metallic Silver-Barely Volt colourway.

Underfoot, Jordan Brand reworked the cushioning for this version, stacking full-length Zoom Strobel over full-length ZoomX foam for a blend of responsiveness and comfort. Internal straps worked into the upper provide support through cuts and changes of direction. These are Jordan basketball shoes for men built for the game, yet they turn heads just as easily off the court.

For players and collectors across Europe, the Air Jordan 40 "28" is a chance to wear two eras of the Jordan line in a single pair. It will appeal to anyone after a high-performance basketball shoe, as well as to fans who remember the arrival of the Air Jordan 28 and its famous shroud.

Order your Air Jordan 40 "28" at noirfonce.eu in the available sizes. Enjoy fast shipping across Europe, secure payment and the option to pay in instalments, so your next pair is only a few clicks away.
