Nike First Sight Mirage W True Berry: where the football boot meets the Oxford

In 2026 Nike unveiled First Sight, a collection designed for women that sets aside the usual running and basketball references in favour of sculptural shapes, clean surfaces and exaggerated proportions. Following the First Sight Noir, launched in March, the line spans three hybrid silhouettes, the Mirage among them. Its starting point is bold: merging the studded football boot with the classic Oxford shoe to create a trainer that looks firmly to the future.

The Mirage stands out with its lifted, platform-style outsole inspired by football boot tooling: sculpted TPU spikes filled with foam cylinders bring the look of studs into everyday comfort. A polished plate anchors the outsole, while the foam midsole cushions every step. The sculpted upper combines synthetic leather and textile for breathable durability. This True Berry/Dark Grey-Clear colourway goes for an intense berry red, lifted by dark grey and translucent details.

When it comes to styling, these women's trainers become the centrepiece of an outfit: wear them with wide-leg black trousers, a pleated midi skirt or cuffed raw denim that shows off the sole. The berry red plays well with grey, black and washed denim.
