Nike launched the Zoom Streak 3 in 2009 as its next race-day shoe, developed with elite distance runners. Between 2009 and 2013 it made its mark at the Boston, New York and London marathons, and Nike notes that it crossed more finish-line tape than any Nike racing shoe before it. True to its racing roots, the Zoom Streak 3 pairs a lightweight one-piece mesh upper with synthetic leather overlays. Zoom Air cushioning in the heel and a Cushlon foam midsole deliver a responsive ride at minimal weight, while a rubber outsole handles grip. The Black / Reflective Silver-Smoke Grey colourway dresses the shoe in black, lifted by Reflective Silver details that catch the light and touches of Smoke Grey.
