Nike USA x V.A.A Arch Academy Pro Soccer Top: the USMNT's pre-match shirt, Abloh style

The anchor of the X2 collection created by the Virgil Abloh Archive with Nike and U.S. Soccer, this is the pre-match top the American players warm up in. Built for the pitch and for everyday wear, it links two World Cups hosted in the United States: 1994, whose graphics it reworks, and 2026. It made its debut against Senegal at the end of May 2026, ahead of the collection's June release.

Built on the Academy Pro template, style code IH1696-100 uses lightweight 100% polyester with a smooth hand and Dri-FIT technology to wick sweat away. The slim fit stays close to the body so nothing gets in the way during warm-ups. The all-over sublimated design draws on vintage sailing: navy and red horizontal bands across the chest and arms, a blue polo collar, a deliberately distorted “Football America” graphic on the front and Abloh-style typography on the sleeves. A sewn-on woven USMNT badge and a red “ARCH” Swoosh on the right chest finish it off.

Off the pitch, the white shirt is an easy blokecore win: tuck it into wide track pants or wear it with nylon shorts and retro trainers in summer. Layered under a track or coach jacket, it adds a hit of colour and graphics. And for a kickabout with mates, the breathable fabric makes it a genuine training top.
