Nike Vomero Plus W "Fennel": max ZoomX cushioning, designed with women runners first

Launched on 7 August 2025, the Nike Vomero Plus was created by an all-women team led by footwear designer Jordyn Klumpp and running product line manager Ashley Campbell. Over nine months they built a shoe with women runners top of mind, shaped by feedback from more than 100 Olympic Trials athletes. It sits at the top of the Vomero family for cushioning, and it should not be confused with the Zoom Vomero 5, a retro lifestyle model: the Vomero Plus is a true road running shoe.

At its core is a full-length ZoomX foam midsole, Nike's lightest and most responsive foam, with 4 mm more stack than the Invincible 3. The drop is 10 mm and the shoe weighs around 242 g in a women's EU 39. A soft, breathable woven mesh upper is paired with a plush collar and tongue. Its flowing lines take cues from the Air Max 95, while an abrasion-resistant rubber outsole provides grip on the road.

The official Fennel/Lemon Venom/Lemon Chiffon/Purple Dynasty colourway pairs a soft fennel green with zesty lemon accents and deep purple. It is a fresh palette that stands out on your morning loop and works off the clock too, with leggings, running shorts or joggers.

Built for easy runs, long runs and recovery days, the Vomero Plus suits runners building mileage as well as those training for a half or full marathon. Among max-cushioned women's running shoes, it stands out for the soft comfort and energy return of its ZoomX foam.
