Timberland Premium 6-Inch Boot in Wheat: the original yellow boot since 1973

Few boots carry the weight of the Timberland Premium 6-Inch. Introduced in 1973 by Nathan Swartz, the veteran shoemaker who had bought Boston's Abington Shoe Company in 1955, it was built to take on harsh New England weather. The Wheat colourway, that unmistakable golden yellow, is the one that turned a New Hampshire bootmaker into a global icon.

This men's Timberland boot is built from waterproof Premium Timberland leather, sealed during tanning, with seam-sealed construction to keep water out. Inside, 400 grams of PrimaLoft insulation, a leather lining and a padded collar deliver warmth and support. The removable anti-fatigue footbed, borrowed from Timberland PRO, absorbs shock and returns energy, while a steel shank supports the arch. Underneath, a rubber lug outsole with a TPR welt provides solid grip, and the laces and hardware will not soak up water.

Style-wise, the Timberland 6-Inch Wheat works laced high over raw denim, or left loose with the tongue out under cargos or fleece joggers. Add a hoodie, a chore jacket or a wool overcoat and you have a strong cold-weather look that carries from autumn right through winter.
