When Nathan Swartz launched the Timberland 6-Inch boot in 1973, he wanted a boot that could stand up to New England snow and rain. Injection-moulding technology bonded the sole to the upper without stitching, a genuine breakthrough at the time. The Black version takes that legendary silhouette into a full tonal black, sharper and more understated than the famous wheat.

Beneath the clean look sits the full spec of the men's black Timberland boot: Premium Timberland leather waterproofed during tanning, seam-sealed construction, 400 grams of PrimaLoft insulation and a leather lining. A padded collar wraps the ankle, the removable anti-fatigue footbed from Timberland PRO cushions every step, and a steel shank keeps the foot stable. The rubber lug outsole with a TPR welt grips wet pavements with ease.

Black changes how you wear it. With black trousers and a puffer it makes a bold monochrome statement; with washed denim or chinos it reads smarter than the Wheat. It moves from a relaxed office to a night out without missing a beat.
