Vans LX Old Skool 36 Floral Rivet: the 1977 skate icon, done premium

Launched in 1977 as Style 36, the Old Skool was the first Vans to carry the famous Sidestripe, originally a random doodle by Paul Van Doren. Built for California skaters with leather reinforcements and a waffle sole, it has grown over the decades into one of the most worn sneakers in the world. The Vans LX range delivers the most faithful and refined versions, and the Vans LX Old Skool 36 Floral Rivet is a particularly considered take.

On a Black/Multi base, this edition pairs a floral motif with metal rivets, a workwear-inspired detail that gives the pair a raw, crafted feel. The silhouette stays true to the 36 archive: low profile, Sidestripe on both sides, padded collar, vulcanised construction and the Waffle outsole, Vans' grip signature since 1966.

Style these black unisex Old Skool trainers with wide-leg denim, work trousers or skate shorts. They bring more personality than a classic black and white Old Skool and sit just as well in a skate rotation as in a sharper streetwear wardrobe.

Part California heritage, part premium finish, this Vans Old Skool LX is made for fans who want an icon with real character, and it is one of the most distinctive Vans of the season.

Available at noirfonce.eu, Europe's sneaker destination and official retailer, in sizes 39 to 44.5, with fast delivery across Europe and secure instalment payments. A pair with character, ready to order now.
