Adidas Adizero Evo SL x Song for the Mute "Dove Grey": a running shoe sketched by hand

Founded in Australia, Song for the Mute built its name on raw, tonal and deeply personal fashion. Since 2022 the Sydney-based label has run a long-term partnership with adidas, taking in the Samba, the Superstar and the Adistar Cushion 3. With RUN02, titled "Run in Love", the collaboration continues its running chapter and takes on the Adizero Evo SL, the Adizero running shoe built for fast everyday training. The result is a genuine performance shoe carrying the signature of a fashion house.

Underfoot, the Evo SL delivers what it promises: a full-length Lightstrike Pro midsole, adidas' premium foam, for lively cushioning and strong energy return, paired with a rubber outsole for grip on the road. The light, breathable textile upper comes in Dove Grey, Grey Two and Grey Six. Song for the Mute adds marker-style drawings: branches and plant motifs across the forefoot, hand-traced outlines of the 3-Stripes, eyelets and mudguard, "Run, Run, Run" on the medial toe, "Slow down" on the tongue and cursive lettering along the midsole.

On the road, these lightweight running trainers handle easy miles, intervals and club sessions. Off it, the grey palette works with black running shorts, wide nylon trousers or washed denim, under a relaxed tee or a technical shell. One pair for the Sunday run club and the coffee that follows.
