Adidas BW Army "Core White": the Bundeswehr trainer reborn as the ultimate vintage white sneaker

BW stands for Bundeswehr, the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Germany. In the 1970s, West German soldiers trained indoors in a low, clean and hard-wearing shoe now known as the German Army Trainer, or GAT. Adidas was one of the original suppliers of that shoe through the 70s and 80s. The BW Army stays true to the military original, with a rare twist for the brand: no Three Stripes on the sidewalls, just a simple suede overlay in their place.

This Core White pair keeps things pure. The white leather upper is shaped by tonal suede overlays, and a full leather lining makes it comfortable from day one.
