Asics Gel-Kayano 14 Lime Zest/Pure Silver: the 2008 flash in a zesty new shade

Released in 2008, the Gel-Kayano 14 holds a special place in Asics history: it was the first Gel-Kayano not designed by the line's namesake Toshikazu Kayano, but by Hidenori Yamashita. Its design is built around the concept of "flash", expressed through its lines, colours and materials. Reissued in late 2020 on the recommendation of designer Kiko Kostadinov, it has since become a Y2K style staple.

The Lime Zest/Pure Silver colourway pairs a bright citrus green with metallic silver accents, true to the model's futuristic look. The upper layers breathable mesh with synthetic overlays, while the midsole follows the original tooling. GEL cushioning absorbs impact with every step and the TRUSSTIC system adds support, delivering comfort originally engineered for running.
