Nike USA x V.A.A Arch Long-Sleeve Rugby Top: Virgil Abloh's legacy in USMNT colours

V.A.A is the Virgil Abloh Archive, the design house carrying the late designer's work forward. For the 2026 World Cup it teamed up with Nike and U.S. Soccer on the X2 collection, linking the 1994 tournament – the last one held on American soil – with 2026 through nautical Americana and vintage sailing references. This long-sleeve rugby top was first worn by the US men's national team ahead of their friendly against Senegal on 31 May 2026, before the collection went on sale on 11 June.

Style code IM3227-100 sits on a white base with navy and red horizontal stripes across the chest and arms. On the back, a big varsity-style “U” sits above “United States of America” lettering. Abloh's codes run throughout: a red “ARCH” Swoosh, sleeve graphics, custom patches, embroidered Swooshes and Virgil Abloh Archive branding along the sleeves. The official White/Challenge Red/Deep Royal Blue colourway turns the Stars and Stripes palette into something properly graphic.

It's an easy piece to wear. On its own with raw denim or cargos it gives a sporty, preppy look; under an open denim or coach jacket the stripes and graphics still do the talking. Finish with white low-top trainers, ideally with a hit of red, and it works as well on the terraces as it does on the street.
